We focus on developing complete players through elite skills training, competitive game experience, strength and conditioning, basketball IQ, discipline and accountability. Baller Academy is led by former professional basketball player Joe Hooks, whose basketball journey has taken him from standout high school basketball in the United States through the US college system, the NBA pathway and an extensive professional career across Europe, Asia and beyond.
Joe competed at a high level internationally, representing professional clubs including Žalgiris, London Towers and Lugano Snakes, while gaining years of experience playing within different basketball systems, cultures and styles around the world.
Following his playing career, Joe transitioned into coaching and player development, taking everything he learned throughout his professional journey and passing it on to the next generation.
Today, that experience forms the foundation of Baller Academy. Joe’s approach goes beyond teaching basketball skills — he develops players to understand the game, compete with confidence, work with discipline and learn what is genuinely required to perform at a higher level.
