AAU Player Selection & Participation Rules

At Baller Academy, we are committed to providing a high-level and competitive experience for our players through AAU tournaments. To maintain the standard of our program, the following rules apply to all new and current players:

  1. Team Selection

  • All AAU teams are selected exclusively by the coaching staff.

  • Selection is based on skill level, attitude, work ethic, and team fit—not on requests or past participation.

  • Being a part of Baller Academy training does not guarantee selection for AAU tournaments.

2. Commitment

  • Selected players must commit to all training sessions and tournament dates once confirmed.

  • Missing scheduled training or games without prior notice may affect your eligibility for future events.

3. Player Conduct

  • All players are expected to represent Baller Academy with respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship at all times.

  • Any form of misconduct, on or off the court, may lead to removal from the team or disqualification from future selection.

4. Communication

  • All communication regarding selection, travel, and logistics will be sent directly to parents/guardians.

  • Players and families must respond to all AAU-related communication promptly.

5. Fees & Uniforms

  • Tournament fees must be paid in full by the specified deadline to secure your spot.

  • All players must wear the official Baller Academy uniform during games and team activities.

6. Playing Time

  • Playing time is earned, not guaranteed, and is determined at the coach’s discretion based on performance, effort, and team needs.
